I’m sitting in a little nook in my basement that I called the resting place. I come here for some quiet and to be with the Lord. I thought this would be a great place to video and share with you my pause, ponder, and proceed that I purposely put into my day.

I started doing this during a very stressful time in my life where I was overwhelmed with emotions and flooded with feelings. I found doing this very helpful.
I pause; I reflect and remember to be still and know that He is God.
I ponder; I think about where I’ve just been and what I’ve just done and I praise God for that.
I also ponder and ask God: “what are your thoughts towards me”? The Bible says that His thoughts towards me outnumber the grain of sand. (Psalm 137:17,18) He is always thinking of me so I like to ask Him: “what are you thinking about me right now”? It’s always something loving and kind.
Then I proceed. I usually pray about where I’m going next and what I’ll be doing, asking for wisdom or just thanking Him that His presence is going with me.

This pause, ponder, and proceed practice is helping me to thrive. This might be something that you may want to consider incorporating into your day. Have a good one.
